Together they taste like something you'd pull from an ice cream truck.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Ethiopian side comes from Wenago, a washing station in the Yirgacheffe region run by Oumer Abudu, where smallholder farmers deliver ripe cherry from plots between 1,800 and 2,200 meters. Washed and sun-dried on raised beds, it is the bright, tangy, lemonade part of the cup. The Colombian side is the Young Producer Development Lot from Unblended, a rotating group of young farmers across Antioquia, Quindío, and Huila who run small experimental batches of naturals and extended fermentation, then cup them together and scale the ones that work. Buying this helps fund that learning. The Rwandan side is a Humeka lot from Rwamatamu, the family farm started by Laetitia and Gaston and now run alongside their daughter Bernice. Anaerobic natural processing concentrates the fruit and gives the blend its creamy weight.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe roasted this one on the lighter side to let all of the flavors shine. The Ethiopian keeps it tangy and clean. The Colombian brings the strawberry and fudge notes. Finally, that creamy body can be credited to the Rwandan anaerobic natural.
