Sprang! is a floral Ethiopian washed blended with a berry-sweet Rwandan anaerobic natural, roasted light-medium for spring. The Ethiopian side opens things up: bright, clean, flowers-on-the-table kind of pretty. The Rwandan side brings the berry sweetness and a smooth, round body. Together, it drinks like that first warm Saturday when you realize you've been sitting on the porch for two hours and you're already on your second cup. Fresh flowers, porch wine, blue skies. Just add hot water.

A washed Ethiopian heirloom from the Yirgacheffe region, where over 850 smallholder farmers deliver ripe cherry to a washing station between 1,800 and 2,200 meters. Bright, floral, and clean. The kind of coffee that wakes a blend up. And an anaerobic natural Red Bourbon from Nyamasheke, Rwanda, grown on volcanic hillsides above Lake Kivu at 1,900 meters. Berry sweetness, smooth body, and a round finish that keeps you reaching for the cup. Together, the floral side lifts and the fruit side fills in. Neither one fights the other.

We roast both light-medium. Just enough development to let the sweetness come through without covering the flowers. It's bright without being sharp, sweet without being heavy, and easy to drink without being boring.

  • Your coffee ships fresh. We roast throughout the week and pack orders as they come in to ensure you're getting beans at their peak.

    • Orders placed Monday–Thursday before 2pm CST ship the next business day.
    • Orders placed Monday–Thursday after 2pm CST ship within two business days.

  • We offer four grind options to match how you're brewing:

    • Drip / Pour-Over — Works for automatic drip machines, pour-over brewers (V60, Kalita, Chemex), and AeroPress. This is the most versatile grind and covers most home brewing methods.
    • Fine (Espresso) — Ground specifically for espresso machines. It's very fine, which means it'll over-extract and taste bitter or chalky if you use it in drip or pour-over methods. Only use this if you're pulling shots.
    • French Press — Coarser grind for traditional French Press brewing, cold brew, or large-batch Chemex (60+ grams of coffee). The larger grind size prevents over-extraction during longer steep times.
    • Cold Brew — Coarse grind optimized for cold brew methods with extended steeping (12-24 hours). Similar to French Press but dialed in for cold water extraction.

    Not sure? Drip / Pour-Over is your safest bet if you're brewing with anything other than an espresso machine or doing cold brew.
