Our Story
Frothy Monkey Coffee Roasters grew out of our Nashville cafes in the early 2000s. We started roasting because we wanted more control over what we were serving. Not just quality control, but knowing the people growing our coffee, understanding how different processing methods affected flavor, and being able to tell our customers real stories about where their coffee came from.
Some of our sourcing relationships go back 20+ years. We've watched farms transition to more sustainable practices, seen second generations take over family operations, and built pricing structures that work for long-term partnerships—not just single transactions.
We've grown with Nashville; expanding our roasting capacity, deepening our sourcing relationships, and staying committed to the hospitality that defines both this city and how we do business. The coffees you'll find in our cafes and in bags on our shelves represent relationships we've spent decades building.
